I’m in the thick of thinking about our summer and fall teaching opportunities. For the summer, it’s a three-way tie between the Letter to the Ephesians (1/2 chapter each week), a study based on the American Bible Society’s booklet Poverty and the Poor in the Bible and the book of Acts. I’m also in conversations about the possibility of a “Theology on Tap” series at the local pub.

For the fall, the Bible in 90 Days study was so well-received last year that I’m tempted to repeat it, but I’d like to do more of my own teaching this year. But I’m also thinking about a study of the Chronicler. We would begin by previewing the history with two weeks on 1-2 Samuel and 1-2 Kings and then move through 1-2 Chronicles over several weeks, finishing with several weeks on Ezra and Nehemiah.
